“I was born in Port Hedland in the old hospital. We have moved around a lot. My parents settled down in Strelley and Warralong. After I had my children I came here to Port Hedland. 

My children are still in Warralong.  

Here in Hedland I have been watching the old people painting. It got me interested.  

I’m painting mainly of my home land, [my] mother’s, father’s and my children’s totem country. About bush tucker and bush medicine. Plants, bush yams, flowers that grow along flat area, along the river.”
