Beryl was born in an outstation called Yumurrpa, West of Yuendumu, near the Chilla Well. She walked to Lajamanu and found her husband here. There were no houses here when she arrived in Lajamanu. She had three daughters. Her artwork is loose and genuine. She was a lady who was respected and loved by all and she knew her Jukurrpa.
