About Jilamara Arts and Crafts Association

Jilamara Arts and Crafts Association is located in the community of Milikapiti on the Tiwi Islands. Jilamara artists are known for their unique Tiwi art making practices, producing contemporary works based on ceremonial body painting designs, clan totems and Tiwi creation stories. The Tiwi palette of red, yellow, white and black is made from ochre pigments collected on Country around Melville Island.

Artwork price includes shipping within Australia. Please contact us for international orders.

 

Refund policy

Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All artworks are covered by transit insurance and should damage occur in transit the customer will be offered the options to repair, exchange or refund the work.

Return policy
