Iltja Ntjarra Art Centre

My name is Jonathon Price, I paint my country Barrow Creek.

I’m interested in learning different styles of painting. My interest began when I would watch my grandmother, Gloria Petyarre paint her traditional dot paintings of bush flowers and bush medicine. My cousin, Eric Inkamala, was a sketch-artist of comics and superheroes which got me inspired to start sketching.

Jonathon was the recent recipient of the Highly Commended Prize at the 2024 Advocate Art Award in Alice Springs.
