Myra Kumantjara

Tjala Arts, Kaltjiti Arts & Umoona Community Art Centre

Myra Kumantjara is an emerging artist based in Umoona Community in Coober Pedy. Myra began painting with Umoona Art Centre in mid-2021. She has demonstrated a deep talent and confidence in her bold paintings, and alongside her individual works she has also collaborated with her mother Jeannie Minunga and auntie Kaye Finn on large scale paintings, one of which was selected for the 2022 Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
