Rachel Nangala Rankine
Arlpwe Art and Culture CentreRachel Rankine was born in Ali Curung in 1967. Ali Curung (formerly Warrabri) is a community located 380 km north from Alice Springs and 170 km south from Tennant Creek. Rachel is from the Kaytetye tribes of central Australia. She currently lives between Darwin and Ali Curung. She is fluent in Warlpiri because it was the language her parents used at home to communicate. She also speaks Kaytetye.
