Stanley Taylor
Mowanjum Art and Culture CentreStanely Taylor is a Nykina man from the Derby region. He started working at Mowanjum Arts and Culture Centre as a Studio Technician in 2008 and was promoted to Studio Supervisor in 2012. In 2013 Stanley participated in and graduated from the ANKAAA Arts Worker Extension Program, and in 2014 he was promoted to Gallery Coordinator at Mowanjum. In all of his various roles, Stanley has played a key role in the day-to-day operaƟon of the Art Centre and in the staging of the annual Mowanjum Festival. Stanley’s ‘mud flat’ design was recently fabricated and constructed into a feature wall in the interior of the Kimberly Training Institute, Derby.
