This painting represents the different Mangarri (food) sources in the bush which are in season. The flowers show us what Mungarri is in season. Mangarri fruits such as Gulangi (black plum) and Ngalirrgi (bush apple). The yellow and red areas in this painting represent Mangarnda (yams). The figures represents Joonda (bush onions), Jolulu (fresh grass) and Mangarnda. The Emina (black brim), Dirawoo (barramundi), Domalagngarri (black headed python), Woolamara (long neck turtle), Barrnarr (turkey) and Warrmuna (possum) and Walumba (red kangaroo) are also all important food sources.
