These painting shows the road near Springvale Station Homestead. Springvale is Mabel’s mother’s country, and where Mabel grew up and worked. This is the place where her brother was born. Behind the hills diamonds have been found. Mabel says that you could see a footprint close to the Ngarrangkarni (Dreaming) waterholes, which never run dry.
