“This specialised weapon is unique to the Kaiadilt people. Made from a single piece of wood and sharpened at both ends, one end usually shorter than the other, but balanced evenly for throwing at the target. The Jardiyali could be used to throw both in mid-air or along the ground, spinning the entire journey, until the sharp ends hit the intended target. When not in use as a weapon, it was also handy for digging the ground up.”

Artworks are sent by Australia Post Express Registered, flat packed very securely or larger works on canvas will be rolled and packed in a shipping tube. Note that larger canvas works are not stretched/framed. The Certificate of Authenticity will be included in the package and we will email it to you as well. MIART will cover postage costs and we will email you the tracking number.

In the most unlikely event that you are not happy with your artwork then MIART will refund you in full upon return of the artwork in perfect condition – your refund will include any postage costs incurred. We are back on island 19.08.24 and will pack and post as quickly as we can but be aware that Australia Post service from remote areas like ours can be a bit slow, even with Express.
