“Kow Swamp is a place of great spiritual and cultural significance to the Yorta Yorta people. It is also the place of the world’s largest single population of ancestral remains from the late Pleistocene area (120,000 – 5,000) years ago. Kow Swamp’s name come from the traditional name of the area Ghow which relates to the white gypsum soil found at the swamp. It is when you do sit at the swamp in the evening as the sun is setting, that you feel how amazing this place is”.Limited edition prints 1/10
