Artwork Story:

When Pastor Albrecht used to go around to every settlement, he told the story about God’s word, every Sunday. First, he went to Hembrey Station, Pertame Country, where he met David Swan, who belongs to that country. My Uncle Lazaurus Arapinya, used to stay and work there on Hembry Station, mustering cattle, he was a stockman. It was a really busy place. People would be working, women grinding salt and men would come with Dingo skins to sell. Pastor Albrecht met alot of people there, who were all very happy when they saw Incarta Albrecht coming. He brought with him plenty of rations and second hand clothes and blankets for everyone and on saturday nights he would show a bible film and make a church service. There was always a church service on Sundays at David Swan’s place. I was just a girl, maybe 12 years old when i saw Incarta. He used to tell a story about Jesus, after church and all the Kuka mapa (little kids) were really happy!
