“Wisdom in the Inner Circle II”, is a depiction of gathering places that remind N’Dene of opportunities, and all the connections between people, nature and animals. Our life story is often connected more than we know and our inner circles might change or grow as we start to trust people. In our culture, we see signs that are meaningful to us. The pink background resonates with N’Dene, as it’s bold and symbolises freedom and expression.
N’Dene Riley is an artist best known for her luminant imagery of the ocean and sea life. With ancestry from the Parrdarrama Pungenna and 6 Rivers tribes in Palawa (Tasmania). Her involvement in Culture and the Community has shaped her painting development. N’Dene’s artistic journey began with watercolours. Drawing inspiration from the land and the sea, she found a love for sketching. In her artwork, N’Dene’s brush paints a story about the calmness of the ocean and the interconnectedness of all our systems and living beings. Through acrylics on canvas, she paints stories, weaving circles, and symbols to symbolise the unity of life.

If you’re looking for a refund of your order, we are here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order.
Baluk Arts Return policy
You may return your item to us for an exchange of similar value or a refund. Refunds payments are returned to the original account used to the make the purchase.
Please note the following returns and exchange policy:
- Returned items must have all original documentation, paperwork, tags still on and be returned in original packaging
- Returned items must be in their original condition with no visible signs of wear, use or damage
- Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase date
- To return or exchange an item, please email us at gallery@balukarts.org.au with your order number, product description and reason for return/exchange.
- Shipping costs for returns/exchanges back to Baluk Arts to be paid for by the customer.
