About Milingimbi Art and Culture

Milingimbi Art and Culture is an Indigenous-owned, non-profit corporation which supports Yolŋu culture and sustainable livelihoods for artists on the island of Yurrwi (Milingimbi), in North East Arnhem Land. It is a social, cultural and economic hub for our community. Milingimbi Art provides income for many families living on Milingimbi and its regional homelands and supports Yolŋu from over 12 language groups.

Shipping policy

All Domestic Shipping is included within the costs of works. International shipping rates will be charged separately at the end of the online fair. Please contact us for rates.

We will begin packing artworks at the conclusion of the online fair, please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery depending on the scale of the work and final destination.

Small works (under 105cm) will be sent with Australia Post with tracking if email is provided. Please check your spam folder for Auspost Tracking message

Larger works will be sent to Darwin with Fly Tiwi or Barge Express (depending on dimensions and weight) to be delivered to final destination by TNT couriers or DHL (for international customers).

Refund policy

Please choose your artwork carefully as all sales are final. Refunds will be available if your package is damaged in transit, please contact studio@milingimbiart.com for more details.

Return policy

  • Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair takes no responsibility for the cancellation, return or exchange of any purchases made at the online Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair. All cancellations, returns or exchange requests must be directed to the Art Centre/Vendor where the purchase was made.
  • Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair takes no responsibility for any or items that appeared different to what was depicted on the online Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair website
